[인문학] 약점이 오히려 위대한 나를 만든다.

필자는 인문학을 굉장히 좋아합니다. 

나이가 점점 들수록 인문학에 대한 관심도 높아져서 작게작게 쌓은 지식으로

회사에서도 인문학에 대한 강의를 하기도 합니다 

 

그런중에 좋은 문구가 있어서 정리해 보고자 합니다. 

 

루 살로메 (출처: 매경 프리미엄)

 

독일의 정신분석학자 "루 살로메" 는 자신의 책  "깨달음 이후 빨랫감"에서 이렇게 말했다. 

 

진정 위대한 존재로 느껴지는 인물을 대할때 
우리는 그 앞에서 얼어서 긴장하기 보다는 
그가 오히려 자신의 약점을 통해서 
그 위대성을 성취했으리라는 사실에
감동해야 하지 않겠는가. 

 

라고 말했다. 

 

성공한 사람이나, 자신보다 지위가 높은 사람(그렇다고 모두 위대하지는 않다)

을 대할때는 위축되거나 긴장하기 쉽다. 회사에서도 마찬가지다. 

작은 단위의 팀에서도 어떤 이들은 대면하는것 자체가 긴장되기도 한다. 

(마음먹기 나름이겠지만)

 

반대로 생각해 보면 그 위대함을 얻기 위해 치열하게 그 자리까지 수없이 많은 노력은 분명 했으리라..

하지만 어느정도 괘도에 오르고 나면 "루 살로메"의 말처럼 약점을 강점으로 만들어서 위대함을

성취했다라고 봐도 좋을것 같다. 이것이 우리의 감동 포인트다...

Weakness makes me rather great.

 

I really like humanities.
As I get older, my interest in the humanities increases, and with my small knowledge
My company also gives lectures on humanities

In the meantime, there is a good phrase, so I want to organize it.

When you're dealing with a person who feels like a truly great person
Instead of being nervous in front of them
I think he'd rather be able to see through his weaknesses
the fact that you've achieved that greatness
Shouldn't we be moved.

a successful man or a man of rank above himself (but not all great)
be prone to contraction or nervousness when dealing with. The same is true of the company.
Even on a small team, some people are nervous to face.
(It depends on how you feel)

If you think about it on the contrary, you must have made countless efforts to achieve that greatness..
But once you're on the right track, as Lu Salome once said, you can turn your weakness into your strength, and you can see that greatness

I think it's worth saying that we achieved it. This is our touching point...
